Day 8 - How To Use Socialmarker

Well if you read the last post on Day 8 - Social Bookmarking then you probably have an idea of what we’re doing.  It’s very simple day (thank goodness).  We just want to submit our article to 5 different Social Bookmarking services and those five social bookmarking services are:

• Digg
• Delicious
• Twitter
• Propeller
• StumbleUpon

By submitting our article Google will be able to find our content and start indexing our blog.  In the Day 8 video Ed shows us how to quickly submit our articles to all 5 services using SocialMarker.

The easiest way to set this up is to first add the SocialMarker link to your favorites toolbar then go to your article and click on the Social Marker link on the toolbar.  Everything else is fairly self explanatory.  Choose the social bookmarking sites you want to submit to and click “Submit” in the upper right corner.

Easy as pie.  My dog adoptions article is now submitted in Digg, Delicious, Twitter, Propeller, and StumbleUpon.  So according to Ed we will soon be indexed by google, traffic will start rolling in, and maybe we’ll make our first dollar.
